How My Gym Works

We’re so excited to have you join us at My Gym! All classes and programs require pre-registration. We cannot accommodate any walk ins unfortunately. Visit the schedule page HERE to get signed up! To make your My Gym experience a GREAT one, here are a few other important things to know. 

What’s included in membership?
One thing that truly sets us apart is we do not run classes in sessions. You can join at ANY time of year and ANY week of the month!

  • Membership in one of our 50- & 60-minute classes is $129 per 4-weeks, billed continuously (every 28 days) until you process a cancellation with 30 days' notice using your online account.
    Tuition includes: ONE weekly age-appropriate structured class (example: if enrolled in Tuesday 10am Terrific Tots - you will always have a saved spot in this class) and the ability to attend multiple Practice and Plays (parent supervised open play) per week. We cannot guarantee space in Practice & Play so remember to always schedule visits in advance using your online account! We make it very easy to book them with our website which keeps real time availability. 
  • You can pre-register for 2 Practice & Plays at a time using your online account. The system keeps up to the minute availability of all classes so you can register for a session that has space. Once you've attended, you'll be able to book another future session using your online account! 
  • Non-enrolled siblings are allowed to attend Practice and Play for a drop-in fee of $10/per child per visit. 
  • Need to miss class? We offer makeup classes!
    • As long as you marked yourself absent in advance, you'll receive a makeup credit in your account.
    • If you do not let us know ahead of time that you will be absent no makeup credit will be available.
    • You have 8 weeks to utilize that makeup credit in any age-appropriate structured class that is not your regular weekly class.
    • ALL makeup credits expire either 8 weeks from your pre-reported absence OR your last day of class if you've recently cancelled enrollment - whichever comes first. 
    • Makeups are a benefit of enrollment, not an extension. Makeup credits have no monetary value, so any remaining credits expire as of the last official day of enrollment. 

How does billing work?

  • For everyone’s convenience, tuition is automatically billed every 4-weeks (28 days) at your current tuition rate. We cannot offer a refund after a tuition payment has been charged. 
  • If there are multiple children in your family, each child will have a separate membership and billing date that coincides with their enrolled class.
  • We hope you LOVE your classes! Our age-appropriate programs grow with your littles ones all the way to age 10 years old! But, if life happens and you need to cancel your membership, you can do this easily on your online account with 30 days' notice.
  • Cancellations are not taken verbally, and My Gym staff cannot process your cancellation in the gym, this ensures your cancellation is processed correctly. 

My Gym Preschool Policies
This is a special drop off program separate from our gym classes. It is held in our private preschool room.

  • You will be billed every 4 weeks (28 days) on a recurring schedule. See the schedule page for current tuition pricing
  • We understand sometimes you may have to miss class for sickness or a planned trip. And sometimes we are closed for major holidays or inclement weather. We do not push payments for missed classes or planned closures as your payment saves your spot in program and space is extremely limited. 
  • If you need to cancel enrollment in this program, you can do it in your online account with 30 days' notice. We cannot process cancellations verbally or in the gym to ensure your cancellation is processed correctly.

Other Policies

  • Siblings: Siblings are not allowed on the gym floor during class for safety reasons, and to maintain the integrity of our age-appropriate programs.
    • Infants under the age of 1 can be worn in an infant carrier or contained in their car seat. For their safety they cannot be simply held or allowed to sit on the floor or any equipment during class.
    • Siblings who are old enough to sit alone in the lobby are welcome to enjoy a quiet activity while their younger sibling takes class. Please ensure if they will be using a tablet that you bring headphones.
  • If you would like to enroll 2 or more children under the age of 6 in the same class, try our super fun Siblings & Friends Class!
  • Sniffles? Cough? Runny nose? 
    We love sharing – just not germs. If anyone in your family feels ill in any way, please stay home and get well soon! Let us know you will not be attending class by marking your child absent online. We'll get you in for a make-up class as soon as you're feeling better!
    • If you or your child show signs of illness during class, a My Gym teacher will kindly ask you to return another day. We appreciate your compliance.
  • What steps can I take to keep my child safe while at My Gym?
    Although accidents are rare at our centers, all physical programs have an inherent risk. We take great care in designing our curriculum and gym setup to be as safe as possible. Your help in following all safety policies and in-class safety announcements will maximize your child’s safety while at My Gym.
  • When participating in class, children wear My Gym Gripper socks to ensure safety as they climb and play on our equipment. Other gripper socks are not allowed. Parents are required to wear their own socks - no grips required! 
    If you happen to forget socks, they may be purchased for $3 upon arrival.
  • Parents/caregivers are responsible for constantly supervising their children during parent participation classes and the Practice and Play program. Always be within an arm’s reach or less of your child and ready to assist as your little one explores the gym and equipment.
  • Please wash your hands or use sanitizer before entering the gym floor and when you leave.
  • We encourage you to take pictures (use @mygymswportland to tag us!), but please be mindful to take photos/videos of only your child. 
  • All older children must be picked up promptly once the class or camp has ended.
  • My Gym is a nut-free facility. Please do not bring any products containing nuts into the gym.

Holidays the gym is Closed
There are a few days during the year we are closed. The full list of planned closures is on this page: 2025 Planned Closed Days. 

  • When a closure happens on a day of your regularly scheduled class, we will ensure a makeup credit is placed in your account. Please use your online account to book a makeup class in any other age-appropriate structured class other than your usual weekly class the week before or up to 8 weeks after the closure.
  • Occasionally we experience inclement weather and the gym will be closed for everyone's safety. For example, if local authorities ask people to stay off the roads due to ice or snow, we will follow their lead. We will text everyone enrolled if class is cancelled due to weather. This is one of the reasons we require pre-registration for all classes.
