The Finest Mommy and Me Classes in La Jolla You Should Check Out Right Away!

Parents are all but skipping through the rings of fire giving it all they’ve got trying to provide the best possible childhood to their kids. They try to surround their little ones with various activities, ranging from great classes for mommies and kids in La Jolla and sightseeing visits to Iron Mountain for a breath of fresh air, to more involving trips, such as San Diego Toy and Doll Museum events. The San Diego Unified School District can still wait a bit, right?

While we can do little to help you with sightseeing, albeit we can provide you with inspiration for some mesmerizing locations, we constantly do all in our power to foster your baby’s development together with you.

That’s why we organize excellent children and parents classes in La Jolla and offer a solution when parents desperately need a night out. But the area in which we totally rule is the mommy and me classes in San Diego. They’re utterly amazing, and it’s easy to see why. But first, off with our answers to parents’ burning questions.

How can I get my 9 month old to engage?

It’s not hard, not really. We understand your predicament and concerns if your baby doesn’t seem to be engaging in activities you plan for them, but fret not, there’s a fix, and a quick one at that.

The first is the easiest fix of them all - go to mommy and me classes. It’s fun, it’s relaxing, and it’s utterly engaging. As for the homelier of fixes - you can think of some new activities. Here are some of our suggestions for what to do with your young one.

  • Peek-a-boo - Find a nice and safe hiding place for your child - a cardboard box should suit just fine. Give your kid time to hide, and then pretend you can’t find them.

  • On and off - Babies adore sudden changes, especially when they get to cause them. Hold your child up and let them turn the lights on and off. It might take a couple of tries, but after that, all bets are off.

  • Where has it gone? - Hide objects around the house and ask your baby to find them. Pretend you’re having trouble too, then gently take your baby’s hand in the right direction and pull the object out. Do it a couple of times and see if your baby can do it alone.

  • Let’s roll - Take a ball, and place it between you and your baby. Slowly roll the ball to your child, and ask to get it back. The baby can catch the ball, but will not be able to immediately roll it back. It does take some practice you know.

  • The flick and drop - Again, a ball, you, and your baby. And a bucket, that’s new. Drop the ball in the bucket, and have your baby repeat it. An excellent game to make even bathing more fun.

  • Noise, noise, noiseee - We got a bit carried away there. What, we love making noise too! Collect various objects around your home and make as much noise as possible with them. Then, let your child run wild, yeah!

  • Obstacle course - This is great fun for little crawlers. Create a makeshift obstacle course for your baby with pillows, soft toys, and blocks, and then crawl through it together with your child.
