Birthday Party FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions)
Frequently Asked Questions for Birthday Parties:
1. Do we allow Alcohol? No
2. Do we allow ice cream or ice cream cakes? No
3. Do we allow outside food and drinks? Yes, but please keep food simple since you have a limited time eat. Pizza is usually the easiest and most popular food to bring. Also we do not allow drinks that need to be poured into cups. Bottled/canned beverages in coolers is ok. We recommend mini water bottles, juice boxes or soda cans.
4. Can we do more than 2 hrs? We only allow up to 2.5 hrs. Its $75 to add the additional half hour. Also if you are the first party on Sat we do not allow the time to be extended past 2 hrs if the second party time is booked already.

6. Can I have a character? Yes, please let us know what time they will be at the party so we can plan the birthday activities accordingly. See our preferred vendor list.
7. Should I do cake or cupcakes? We prefer cupcakes which is much easier and takes less time, but you can do either.
8. Can I bring extra balloons or a balloon arch? Yes, but they must all be blown up already and able to be put up in 15 min.
9. How early can I arrive? You can arrive no earlier than 15 min before your party.
10. What is the maximum kids? Our max is 30 kids, but reminder you have to pay per additional child depending on which package you choose. Parties with over 20 kids we cannot do as many activities for so many kids.
11. What is the max adults allowed? We have seating for 40-50 adults. There is no cost for adults.
12. Do babies count towards the number of paid kids? Yes, if they are on the Gym floor at all.
13. Do kids need to wear socks? Kids must wear My Gym grip socks. Grip socks will be provided.
14. Do adults need to wear socks? Yes, we have some for purchase if they forget. (Some families will bring extra socks for their adult guests)
15. Can I have a face painter? Yes, but kids who get painted cannot go on the gym floor, its recommended they be painting during food time which is only 30-45 minutes.
16. Can I have any other outside vendors? Yes but see our preferred vendor list and discuss your ideas with us before you book anything to verify best timing and if appropriate. Ice cream vendors will need to stay outside and guests may not bring ice cream inside.
17. What kind of food should I have? The easiest food is pizza since you have a limited amount of time to eat, and maybe a fruit or veggie tray. Please see our preferred vendors for where to get pizza from. We prefer our neighbors, Sister Sicily since they will deliver right before you eat and they give you a 10% discount.
18. How long is play time? Depending on the package you choose play time is 1 hr- 1.5 hrs.
19. How long is food time? We eat the food and cake the last 30-45 minutes of the party. Kids may not go back to play in the gym once we go to eat.
20. Can my child be alone on the gym floor? All kids under 3 must have a parent with them at all times.
21. What ages can participate in the party? Most kids 12 and under have fun participating.
22. What kind of activities do you do for the kids? Depending on the number of kids we will have games, relay's, rides, a warmup, song/dance, obstacle course, zipline, etc. We try to tailor each party to what the birthday child and guests will most like. Activities vary for each age group.
23. Can we have a photographer? Yes
24. Can we bring our own decorations? For the Deluxe or Grand package you can bring decorations, but they must be dropped up the Friday before your party by 1pm. You can bring banners, backdrops, tablecloths, paper goods, and centerpieces. Please be sure all banners and centerpieces have already been assembled. Any additional decor please call us to go over. Excessive decor may require an additional fee and we have limited time to set up and clean up depending on when your party is. To do additional decor for the Premier package please give us a call or text to discuss your ideas. For Deluxe you will need 2 lg tablecloths or 3 medium size tablecloths for the kids table if providing themed tablecloths.
25. For the Grand package what all decorations and paper goods can we bring? All decor and paper goods must be dropped off the Friday before your party by 1pm and must be assembled or blown up. We do all the set up for you. For the Grand all the eating will take place in our lobby which is plenty of space for 12 kids and about 20 adults. You will need 3-5 tablecloths, plates, napkins, utensils (if needed), drinks (we recommend mini water bottles and juice boxes). You may bring in 1 banner or backdrop. There is minimal space for decorations, so we recommend keeping it simple!
26. Is a Deposit required? Yes, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required when booking. You pay the remaining balance the day of the party.
27. What supplies do I need to bring day of? You do not need to bring any supplies except a candle for your childs cake, unless you are adding to the decor. We have lighters, cake cutters, tape, etc. You will need serving spoons or utensils if bringing food that needs it.
28. Can we bring a Pinata? Yes but please let us know if you plan to bring one and what type so we can make sure there is time for it. Also be sure to bring something the kids can hit it with, something to hang it with and bags for the kids to put the candy in.
29. What decor and paper goods should I bring for a Deluxe Party? All paper goods are included, so you only need to bring any themed decorations you want to add. We can do any color tablecloths except white, and have solid blue, red, purple, or pink plates/napkins for kids table. We recommend 2-3 themed tablecloths for the kids tables, a backdrop for dessert table and a birthday banner. If you do not bring in a backdrop we have a My Gym Backdrop you can use. Included are also 2 balloon bouquets for kids table. Please drop off all additional decor the Friday by 1pm before your party. We do include a fabric tablecloth for the dessert table, we have pink, black, red, and blue.
31. When do we eat? You eat the last 30-45 min of the party depending on how long your party is. We recommend having the food delivered 1 hr into a 2 hr party and 45 min into a 1 & 1/2 party.
32. What is in the goodie bags? Are they themed? The goodie bags are all My Gym themed, they all have different random little toys in them along with stickers, coloring book, etc.
33. Can I add to the goodie bags? Yes as long as it fits inside the bag which is a little larger than a quart size bag. You can also bring your own goodie bags.
