This class offers a perfect setting for children of different ages to learn and play at the same time. It is an ideal option for parents with a younger and older child and want the convenience and safety of bringing both children to the same class. Parents with one child may also participate. If you have one child, perhaps this time is most convenient, or you want your child to socialize with children of different ages.

Our teachers design this class so that all children will benefit. For parents with more than one child, you are encouraged to let your older child follow the teacher's directions while you guide your younger child through the fun class activities.

Beginning gymnastic skills are emphasized along with active play, group games, swings, songs, dances, rides, puppet shows, and more.

My Gym's Preschool Prep program uniquely couples our award winning fitness curriculum with basic academic preschool instruction (music, reading readiness, science, writing, calendar concepts, counting and number recognition, arts & crafts, story time, fine motor activities and imaginative play) and focuses on inspiring a love of fitness and learning.  The goal of this 2 hour program for ages 2-4 is to make learning fun and exciting in the familiar and nurturing atmosphere of My Gym so that we can help your little one acquire the independence, confidence and skills needed to excel in preschool and beyond.

-Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (choose 1 - 4 days a week)

-5 to 1 Student/Teacher Ratio (max is 10 children)

In this age group, teaching physical skills is a top priority but equally important is the development of social skills, as the youngsters become good listeners, follow directions, cooperate in a group, and gain confidence. Children become more independent as teachers are now interacting more directly with them. Parental involvement is gradually decreased through inviting activities with love and understanding, and the children exude pride and self-esteem as they are treated like "big kids."

In addition to having fun with a mix of structured group activities and explore time, this class will incorporate pre-gymnastics, sports skills, fine and gross motor proficiency, and as well as manipulative skills.  It's a great class to help in the total development of your child while making memorable moments for you and your child.

Increased strength and agility developed through our Karate Program give your child a foundation to excel in sports, fitness, and physical education. More advanced punches, kicks, blocks, and Taekwondo stances are learned as your child advances through the program. The benefits don’t stop at the physical, however; compassion, focus, confidence, respect and self-discipline are invaluable lessons addressed in the curriculum. As with all our My Gym classes, our Karate Programs are conducted in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where children thrive.

We also offer a Mini Karate introductory class for ages 3-5.
